Doug Eaton

Doug is a Senior Project Manager in the Vancouver office and shareholder, and is responsible for successfully delivering JRS’s high level of expertise and service on some of the largest and most challenging projects our Vancouver office is involved in. Doug has over 36 years’ industry experience gathered through a broad base of challenging roles, assignments and responsibilities, and has a wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding of construction projects— their unique scheduling and operational demands and the exceptional interpersonal skills needed to coordinate multiple consultants, contractors and sub-trades.

One of the first employees of JRS Engineering, since 2000, Doug has provided building envelope consulting services for hundreds of buildings and a wide variety of project types, including new construction projects, rehabilitation, repair and warranty/ maintenance coordination.  Doug has also been instrumental in helping establish JRS in the Calgary market and has played a key role in client and business development. As a senior consultant, Doug also provides expert training and mentoring to junior technical staff and helps ensures the transference of our culture.

Prior to entering the field of building science, he spent 22 years working in various aspects of real estate, design, development, construction, property management and project management of major commercial residential and industrial projects throughout Canada and USA.
