Jack Cui

M.Sc, P.Eng, LEED® AP, Principal

Jack is a Senior Energy Modelling Specialist and Division Manager with JRS Engineering in Vancouver. He is an experienced energy modeller with nearly two-decades in engineering and building science consulting. Jack works with high performance green building designs, focussing on Energy Assessment, Code Compliance, and LEED Energy Modelling. He is also one of only a few dozen “Experienced Modellers” as recognized and approved by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC).

Jack obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, a Master’s of Science in Building Services Engineering from Loughborough University in the UK, and is a member of numerous professional associations, including: Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC), Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and CaGBC. Jack is registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC and APEGA and is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

With his thorough and systematic understanding of energy-saving building designs Jack’s leadership of this division focuses primarily on energy assessment and energy modelling services, along with other areas of energy related consulting.
