UBC Gage South Residence and Bus Exchange

JRS Engineering  was retained to provide building envelope consulting services for the UBC Gage South Residence and Bus Exchange. The development consists of five interconnected, reinforced concrete student residential buildings, ranging from 7 to 14 storeys, constructed over a shared ground-level transit hub.

During construction, JRS reviewed all relevant documents and performed field review services pertaining to the construction of the building envelope at UBC Gage South Residence and Bus Exchange. The construction spanned from 2017-2019. Furthermore, JRS assisted by performing window tests, review reports, organizing letters of assurances and prepared a maintenance manual for the development upon completion.
