Oasis

JRS Engineering (JRS) was retained to provide building envelope consulting services for the design and construction of Oasis. This mixed-use development includes two residential towers, one 35-storey and one 50-storey, each built over a two-level commercial podium and six-levels of below-grade parking. The new commercial space and parking structure is integrated with the existing retail building and parking.

The exterior wall assemblies include coated mass concrete, brick cladding and aluminum composite panels. Glazing systems included window wall, unitized curtain wall, captured curtain wall and structural sealant glazed curtain wall. The roofs over living space are all low-slope roofs, where the waterproofing membrane is generally protected with various ballasts. Balconies and eyebrows are coated with a pedestrian traffic coating.
