Sun Towers

JRS Engineering  was retained to provide building envelope consulting services for the design and construction of the Sun Towers project in Metrotown. This project is for two towers, one 26-storey and one 41-storey with an 8-story commercial/ office podium and ground level townhouse units. The building envelope systems include unitized curtain wall, window wall, as well as terra-cotta and aluminum composite cladding.

JRS consulted on the envelope design and construction with respect to environmental separation and the performance of materials, components, and assemblies. We addressed air, moisture, and precipitation control issues related to walls, glazing, roofing, waterproofing, and interfaces between building envelope components.
