JRS Engineering was retained to provide building envelope consulting services to undertake a Managed Maintenance Plan (MMP) of Tsleil Waututh Nation (TWN) community buildings. MMPs are designed to provide general recommendations and guidelines for building maintenance. The goal is to perform regular and prudent maintenance and actively record maintenance tasks to assist The Owners’ in maintaining their building.

MMPs are maintenance based and emphasize preventative measures specific the building. They provide maintenance recommendations for systems and components located on, or within, the building. These systems include the building envelope, mechanical, electrical, and interior finishes. The plan can also be used to define maintenance time lines and cost references.

JRS was also the envelope consultant for the design and construction of the Tsleil Waututh Administration Building & Health Centre. As part of maintenance planning for TWN community buildings JRS is providing an MMP for this complex.
