Jeff is the JRS Seattle office’s Principal in Charge. He has 18 years of practical construction industry experience, including roles as carpenter, designer, contractor, architect and building envelope consultant. Jeff has a passion for sustainability and has provided services for numerous sustainable design projects focusing on energy efficiency and green building systems. He has been a LEED® Accredited Professional for 10 years and is a nationally certified HERS (Home Energy Rating System) Rater. He is also director of JRS’ whole building air barrier testing service.
Jeff’s expertise includes condition assessment, architectural programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents production, detailing and construction administration. He can provide building performance analysis, building code analysis, litigation support and sustainability and green rating system compliance review. Jeff received his Master’s Degree in architecture from the University of Washington and is a licensed architect in Washington State.
