Sitka, a 7-story, multi-family housing development, and the newly designed National Nordic Museum were recognized last Thursday for their outstanding achievements in building design at the 2019 Skyline Awards, presented by Seattle Business magazine.
Held in downtown Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood, the inaugural event consisted of 18 total awards across various categories for developments within the Puget Sound area. Sitka received the Silver Award for Multi-Family Low-Mid Rise of the Year, and the National Nordic Museum took home the Gold Award for Cultural Development of the Year. JRS Engineering provided enclosure design consulting services for both projects.
The Skyline Awards were created by Seattle Business magazine as a means of highlighting the projects that go above and beyond when it comes to design, economic impact, and overall effective use of land and resources in Seattle’s ever-changing architectural landscape.
