The Morrison Hotel
JRS performed the building envelope portion of a Capital Needs Assessment for this historic hotel in downtown Seattle. The solid masonry building was constructed in 1908 and renovated in 2005.
JRS participated as part of a larger team of consultants and contractors to provide an overall assessment of all the major building systems. Our assessment helped the owner assess the building’s immediate, short-term, and long-term building envelope needs.
JRS reviewed existing drawings, and documented observed conditions, materials, and construction methods as they related to the building envelope. JRS then produced a report summarizing observations, valuations, and recommendations.
