Temple de Hirsch Sinai Bellevue
Temple De Hirsch Sinai (TDHS)’s Bellevue campus has experienced water ingress issues. JRS performed a Building Envelope Condition Assessment (BECA) to determine the extent and causes of issues with this 15-year-old building. Our resulting report provided descriptions of causes and options for addressing them. JRS worked with TDHS Representatives to further develop a repair and replacement strategy for aged or failed building envelope components that fit within budgetary limitations.
Repair scope of work included window replacement; removal of barrier cladding systems with new rainscreen assemblies; curtain wall and storefront rehabilitation and integration improvements; and reroofing. Because the building was occupied during the week by schools and weekends by religious services, care was taken to stage and sequence work to limit disruption.
