JRS Accredited in Engineering and Geoscientists, BC’s Employer Member-In-Training Program
The Accredited Employer Member-in-Training (MIT) program helps employers attract and retain high-calibre talent, and streamlines the processing and evaluation of applicants seeking professional membership.
JRS Engineering is extremely pleased to announce that we are the first engineering firm in the building science and building envelope industry to have been accepted into Engineers and Geoscientists, British Columbia’s (EGBC) Accredited Employer Member-In-Training Program.
Under this program, engineering companies that employ engineers-in-training (EITs) work with EGBC to offer work environments that ensure their EITs are able to satisfy the EGBC’s experience requirements when applying for their P.Eng. designation.
This accreditation means that EGBC affirms that JRS provides the requisite training, supervision, and structure and that our EIT supervisors have been trained by EGBC and understand the requirements EITs need to become a successful applicant. EITs at JRS Engineering will be able to complete the application process for professional registration efficiently and become Professional Engineers as quickly as possible.
