SOLO District

Burnaby, British Columbia

The SOLO District consists of 4 residential towers and lower-lying mixed-use buildings surrounded by green space, located south of Lougheed Highway in Burnaby. The largest tower is the Altus, a mixed-use building with commercial units on the first 14 floors and 280 residential units on the remaining floors. When complete Altus will be the tallest structure in Burnaby, and the SOLO District will be a hub for 1,400 residential units. The entire development will incorporate a number of environmentally conscious initiatives, including geothermal heat.

JRS is working with Appia Developments and Chris Dikeakos Architects on Phase 2 (Altus) and Phase 3 (Cirrus) of this development. We are providing full building envelope consulting for both phases, including design review and ongoing field review services. Phase 1 (Stratus) is complete.
