THE LIFT BAR & GRILL VANCOUVER
Waterfront restaurant situated overlooking Stanley Park in Vancouver's Coal Harbour area. JRS worked with the owner, contractor and architect during all phases of the project from design through construction, providing design advice, reviewing construction drawings and specifications, undertaking shop-drawing reviews and performing field reviews. Through our in-house staff, JRS was also able to provide RCABC inspection services coordinated with our usual field services in order to obtain a RCABC roof warranty.

VANCOUVER MUSEUM VANCOUVER
Walley Learning Centre Addition of the Vancouver Museum. JRS reviewed the architectural drawings and specifications as well as shop drawings of the curtain-wall and metal panel system as well as undertaking field reviews during construction. JRS was able to provide inspections for the RCABC warranty due to our in-house certified inspection staff. Particular challenges included integrating the new state of the art envelope assemblies with the older, existing museum structure.

VANTECH BUSINESS CENTER VANCOUVER
10-storey post-tensioned concrete high-tech office building. Due to our extensive expertise in curtain-walls, JRS was asked to develop a project-specific specification section for the curtain-wall assembly JRS undertook architectural design and shop-drawing reviews and provided field reviews and performance testing of the windows and curtain-walls. JRS also designed the brick veneer rain-screen wall assembly and prepared building envelope details at a rate that kept up with the fast-paced nature of this design-build project.

North Vancouver Community Centre JRS provided design review services for review of the architectural design documents and during construction, all glazing system shop-drawings. Field services were provided for review of all building envelope assemblies and components and included provision of building envelope details in order to resolve outstanding issues and provide direction in-pace with the construction.

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH HALL VANCOUVER
Three-storey parish hall developed by the Catholic Archdiocese built adjacent to the existing church. The concrete building contains a gymnasium and stage, classrooms, meeting rooms, a chapel, and a kitchen, all over an underground parking garage. JRS reviewed the architectural design documents and met with the design team to develop the building envelope systems and details and is undertaking reviews of shop drawings. Field services are being provided for review of all building envelope assemblies and components and will include field-testing of certain building envelope assemblies to ensure performance requirements are met.
