Description:
The renovation of this 100-year-old steel-and-masonry heritage building in historic Chinatown included new metal-clad wood windows, repair and cleaning of the original façade, new 2-ply SBS torch-applied roofing, and installation of new metal cornice flashings.
JRS reviewed architectural drawings and specifications, and made recommendations for materials and assemblies. Fieldwork included reviewing new components and window mock-ups and conducting window tests.
