JRS has nationally and provincially accredited roofing inspectors on staff and has consulted on both the repair and installation of tens of thousands of square feet of roofing and waterproofing. Our consulting has involved projects utilizing a wide range of systems from conventional asphalt shingles to complex insulated membrane and metal-panel systems.

We are approved by the Roofing Contractor's Association of British Columbia (RCABC) as an independent inspection firm. As such we are able to offer inspection services under the RCABC 5 and 10-year guarantee program. As a an engineering firm specializing in building science, we apply the same thoroughness to our roofing assignments as we do to other areas of our practice and are able to ensure that all building envelope issues, such as the integration of a new roof into the existing building envelope, is properly considered and addressed.
