Our testing and analysis services are usually a component of our other work, however we often provide these services when requested by our clients or for specific assignments.

The performance of building envelope components and assemblies are verified by testing in the field. JRS Engineering Ltd. frequently performs testing such as water testing of windows and other glazing assemblies to such standards as ASTM E-1105 and AAMA 501.2, moisture-probe testing of framed walls, cut-tests of roofing and waterproofing membranes, testing for concrete deterioration and others. However, these are only a few of the numerous types of tests we undertake.

Analysis is undertaken using both commercially produced computer software and programs developed in-house to model such phenomenon as thermal performance and condensation potential as well as assist in complex calculations used in structural design.
